ABOUT SITE HOSTING
LFFC is deeply grateful for the generous contributions that our site hosts make each week by volunteering their time and space to host a pick up location. They make a huge difference in the lives of our farmers as well as in the health of our communities and planet.
WHO ARE LFFC SITE HOSTS?
One of the best parts of CSA is that it brings so many different people together! LFFC works with individuals and families, businesses, and organizations to bring fresh, healthy food into communities in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, DC, and New York.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BECOME A SITE HOST?
You will need an accessible space for members to pick up their shares once a week. This could be a shady porch, garage, lobby, office, etc. We ask that site hosts keep this space open to shareholders for a minimum of four hours. CSA shares will come pre-boxed and are easily stackable. We ask that site hosts fold and tie up the boxes at the end of each pick up to be reused in our warehouse the following week.
MEMBERSHIP MINIMUMS
In order to make a delivery, LFFC requires 20 full share equivalents at sites in PA and DE and 30 full share equivalents at sites in MD/DC, NY, and VA. Full share equivalents are as follows:
1 full share = 1 full share
2 half shares = 1 full share
3 flower shares = 1 full share
4 fruit shares = 1 full share
5 csm shares = 1 full share
